Claims Advocate / Injury Advocate Full-time

You will be the primary face of the organization to team members that are injured at work. These team members will rely on you to promptly and effectively advocate on their behalf to ensure that they receive the best treatment and return to their pre-injury position as soon as possible.


  • Educate injured team members to explain the treatment and claims process
  • Along with the adjuster, coordinate care for team members
  • Making outbound phone calls/email/text messages to injured team members to assess current treatment/work status
  • Maintain consistent contact with Team Member/providers/Hu throughout the treatment program to ensure goals and expectations are being met
  • Communicate to internal stakeholders regarding injured team members status to ensure a successful and seamless return to work.
  • Document and track progress towards release and full duty return to work.
  • Participate in monthly safety calls to address root causes of incidents and provide input to ensure hazard is addressed.
  • Survey team members at the end of claims process to identify any opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years Workers? Compensation Claims experience or;
  • 0-3 years of Case Management experience or;
  • 0-3 years of internal injury management experience.
  • MS Office expertise
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent people skills; must be able to interact with all levels from hourly team members to the CEO.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and make decisions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish Speaking
  • Experience working with Risk Management Information Systems

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s degree or greater
