Aon is looking for a Middle Market Builders Risk Broker
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk (Construction Services Group) in Houston or Dallas. Job Responsibilities:
The Middle Market Builder?s Risk Broker is responsible for assessing client needs, preparation of market submissions, negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client?s best interests. This position will be a collaborative effort with Account Executives, Originators, Account Specialists within CSG and the overall Aon Risk platform.
Professional who works with AE and others in the placement of Builder?s Risk placements for projects that are deemed as ?commercial construction?. Generally values that are up to $150 Million. Otherwise, Middle Market business
Develops and manages internal Aon relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities. Collaboration a necessary skill set.
Some level of interaction with clients.
Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, and internal Aon Commercial Risk relationship managers and originator/producer
Identify and analyze project risks, contractual conditions and ensure policy coverage addresses all such exposures
Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with clients, relationship managers, originators and service center support
Prepare market submission and product design options to clients, relationship managers, and originators
Review and analyze quotes and binders to ensure appropriate and accurate coverage terms in documents produced by insurance carriers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of insurance carrier relations specific to the segment
Grow and cultivate knowledge of the market dynamics within the segment
Recognize and develop opportunities
Team Excellence, with a keen focus on process and operational excellence
Strong communication skills
Enforce to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all activities and able to work well in a team environment
Limited travel as required for client, prospect and industry events.
Individual contributor role You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
Minimum 5+ years commercial brokerage customer service and brokerage support experience or underwriting experience
Construction Property and Builder?s Risk Insurance Experience preferred
Agent/Broker License
Proven teamwork skills
Strong work ethic Preferred Experience:
Computer knowledge: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite Education:
Bachelor?s degree preferred
