We are seeking a Life Insurance Sales & Service Agent who will be responsible for working directly with clients, assisting them with their life insurance needs. Responsibilities
- Review current policy information with clients and make coverage recommendations
- Provide customer service for existing clients
- Process Insured policy change requests
- Follow up to ensure accuracy of carrier requests
- Underwrite, rewrite, re-quote, reinstate and cancel existing policies on behalf of the insured
- Obtain all underwriting information and/or any trailing documentation from the client on behalf of the carrier
- Notate all interactions with Insureds in the agency?s client management system
- Obtain all signatures forms/applications required by the carrier
- Review accounts with insureds
- Review and update all current client contact information in client management system
- Deliver client correspondence via Email/USPS
- Assist agency, agents and brokers with back-office support to include illustrations, contracting, policy service and commission inquiries

Required:
- Must possess Life & Health License
- Undergo a comprehensive background check
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred
Experience and Additional Competencies:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a life insurance agent
- Experience as a Nationwide Insurance Agent is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of Life Insurance, Annuities, Individual Disability Insurance & LTCi
- Ability to illustrate, evaluate and make recommendations regarding individual life insurance policies
- Knowledge of licensing and contracting with insurance carriers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
