Description

SAIC is currently seeking a RF Subject Matter Expert to support effrots in Huntsville, AL.

Candidate will function as an integral member of a team of Government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support to Project Management Office, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE). The PMO ASE is an acquisition management organization under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S). The team provides acquisition management support, program research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for aircraft survivability equipment.

The candidate will work PMO ASE supporting the Threat Warning Product Office as a RF Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide engineering expertise to the U.S. Army Program Management Office for Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PM ASE) in Huntsville, AL on programs related to the acquisition, development, testing and transition to sustainment of radar warning receivers (RWRs) and radio frequency countermeasure (RFCM) systems.
  • Analysis of contractor provided, or government test, data to determine solutions to system integration challenges
  • Support AN/APR-39 family RWR system engineering efforts to include design reviews, program reviews and review of specifications, interface control documents, and test plans Development of technical documentation related to RF impacts during system integration and development
  • Review and evaluation of prime contractor delivered CDRLs for completeness and accuracy.
  • Participation in, or leadership of, RF technical discussions with a variety of stakeholders to resolve technical discrepancies or challenges
  • Development and presentation of briefs related to specific areas of RF technical expertise and system relevant components
  • Participation in planning, development, test, and evaluation activities for system integration with both system specific and platform subject matter experts
  • Provide RF support in drafting performance work statements and in monitoring technical engineering progress by prime contractor and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related scientific discipline
  • At least 14+ years of experience in applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, test or evaluate military systems
  • Familiarity with US Army aircraft platforms and US Army acquisition processes and documentation

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Radar technology
  • Experience with PEO IEW&S and PMO ASE
  • Experience with DoD aviation and avionics systems

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

DoD SECRET clearance is required (with the potential to upgrade to TOP SECRET).
