Key Role:

Assist the client with validation of technical production documentation including producibility issues, engineering and design issues, ad-hoc trial cards, CAR, testing, change validation and verification, and management of contract verification effort on shipbuilding waterfront. Work with configuration management as well as waterfront government oversight to assess pending changes, waivers and deviations for contract and requirement adherence as well as production impacts. Lead waterfront effort to verify shipboard incorporation of Class I and II changes and develop metrics and reports to apprise management of status. Develop briefs, memorandums, and letters for PEO leadership, Navy leadership, and foreign customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience with ship production or technical management

• Experience in working with a U.S. Navy Shipbuilding program office in a leadership role

• Experience in overseeing production at a shipyard facility

• Experience with assessing ship or system designs for contractual adherence and producibility

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Power Point

• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor?s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, DAU Level III Program Management, Engineering, or Production, Quality and Manufacturing Certification
