Summary:

Assist clients via warm leads to educate, provide quotes and sell any, or all, of the following insurance products - auto, home/renters/condo, and umbrella insurance. This is done by demonstrating advantages of our company's products, services and benefits while also overcoming objections to purchase.


Job Description:


This is a remote position which will allow you to work from home.

No cold calling - perspective customers contact us and are already interested in an insurance quote.

A Property & Casualty sales license is not required to be considered but must be obtained within 30 days of employment if hired.

Candidates that hold a current Property & Casualty sales license will receive $500 hiring bonus if hired.

Additional details:

Start date: April 25, 2022

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour ($41,600 per year) plus commission eligibility and a targeted 5% annual bonus.

  • Premium pay for Spanish bilingual or evening hours

Primary Accountabilities

  • Take inbound calls (from warm leads) and provide the appropriate quotes for one or all of our insurance products - auto/home/renters/condo/umbrella.
  • Develop relationships with our perspective clients via phone and/or e-mail with the ultimate goal of selling an insurance policy for one of our products.
  • We will offer all required training, on-going training, in one on one meetings with your leader and we will guide you to continually meet education requirements to maintain an active Property & Casualty license.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Attention to detail to provide accurate quotes to clients.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
  • Ability to clearly explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
  • Required to meet minimum internet speed requirements to work from home.
  • Acquire resident and all necessary non-resident Property Casualty licenses and maintain active status.

Preferred skills:

  • Previous inside sales/sales or customer service experience.
  • Current Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Additional Job Information:

Work from Home Requirements

  • Prospective employees will be responsible for securing and paying for their own internet expenses and must have a hard-wired internet service via cable, fiber, or DSL with a minimum of 5 mbps upload and 25 mbps download per user/device.
  • Must have a wired Ethernet connection that meets upload and download speed requirements as noted above.
  • Prospective employees will be required to have a distraction free workplace away from the main flow of the home and must be able to focus solely on delivering a world-class service experience.
