This is a full-time, entry-level design position with benefits and an office in northwest Omaha, with easy access to Omaha?s best sushi!

ABOUT THE JOB

Typical responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Design and coordinate install of wayfinding signage and other environmental graphics
• Create mock ups and renderings for approval
• Assist with the following:
• Conceptual and schematic design
• Finish material selection, coordination and specifications
• Design selection and coordination of furniture, fixtures and equipment
• Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Requesting cost proposals and negotiating contracts and prices
• Preparing and processing purchase orders
• Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments
• Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries
• Coordination with consultants and contractors
• Construction administration and submittal review

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university
• 1-5 years of experience in design-related field
• Professional registration (a plus)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Proficiency with SketchUp or Rhino (preferred)
• WELL AP and LEED AP credentials (a plus)
• A portfolio that shows design sketches, 3D models/renderings and construction drawings for restaurants or other commercial spaces for which they played a significant role

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

• $45,000-$55,000 annual salary, depending on experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
