Private Client Associate

The Private Client Associate provides support services for Private Banking. Duties include administrative tasks, business processing, and customer service interactions.
Essential Function
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail.
Provide phone back-up.
Provide reception to clients and prospects.
Other duties may be assigned.
Private Banking
Assist with account origination process, specifically as it relates to loan documentation and booking through internal systems.
Assist in the credit renewal process, including monitoring future maturities and line exception reports.
Deposit account opening and closing process.
Service client needs as it relates to loan and deposit account issues.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two year college or 3 - 5 years related work experience.
Customer Service Skills
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle difficult and sensitive business situations.
Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors.
Interpersonal Skills
Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.
Possess clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication.
Must be attentive to detail.
Ability to interact effectively with Bank employees at all levels.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, ratios, returns and fractions.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to provide common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and verbal directions.
Computer Skills
Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and have a complete understanding of the Bank's Trust, Securities, Lending and Depository systems.
Other Skills and Abilities
Event coordination, logistics for seminars and presentations.
Coordination and preparation of marketing and account review materials.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must possess strong organization and planning skills.
Must be self-motivated.
Excellent team player.
Ability to multi-task.
