A Manufacturing Engineer job is currently available at Belcan managed out of our Lexington Kentucky location. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar discipline as well as three to five years job experience. In this job you will be supporting one of our aerospace customers in writing manufacturing planning documentation and aircraft producibility.

Job Duties:

• Write planning documentation for production modifications and engineering changes on aircraft.
• Review Bill of materials for completeness and proper build up tree structure.
• Participate in weekly customer interactions for project status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Three to five years of experience.

• Experience with 3D solid modeling (e.g. SolidWorks or related software).
• Skilled with Microsoft Office tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the US required.

Desired but not required skills:

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or aircraft manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Experience with production planning software (e.g. Solumina or related software).
• Knowledge of SAP 3D Visual Right Hemisphere modeling Software.
