About this position: Methodist Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Secretary/Clerk for our Outpatient Clinic, located on the 2nd floor of the main campus. The Unit Secretary provides patient-related secretarial /clerical services, order entry, and medical record maintenance for the Outpatient Clinic to ensure efficient, effective communications among the professional care providers. Knowledge and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required; some college education desirable; secretarial /clerical skills; computer operation essential. Ability to courteously and effectively communicate with patients, family, caregivers, all levels of staff. Medical terminology experience preferred; able to work independently. ***Previous experience as a Unit Clerk/Secretary strongly preferred*** Schedule: The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Methodist Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive compensation package including:
