Help Desk Tech Full-time

at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER Mississippi in Mississippi (Published at 23-06-2021)

Under the direction of the CIO, the Help Desk Tech is responsible for entering and managing task in the Help Desk System. Other duties will include following up with the department managers and staff, technical support for hardware and software problems, assist in training, data entry, preventive maintenance of equipment, keeping adequate documentation of assistance, assist IS staff when needed, confer with IS staff to assist in developing and enhancing customer support, quality and productivity efficiency.

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two(2) year degree in computer technology preferred or currently enrolled in an accredited program working toward degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Must be willing to learn new procedures.
  • Must have ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Must always remain productive and loyal to the department and mission of the organization.
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time at a computer.
  • Must be able to speak for period of time.
  • Ability to be courteous, tactful and cooperative throughout the working day.
  • Moderate physical effort; carrying boxes, computers, monitors, and other peripherals throughout the building using a cart if necessary.
