Front Desk Service Representative Full-time

at Juneau Super 8 Alaska in Alaska (Published at 19-02-2021)

Our esteemed property is in search of an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You?ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. If you love interacting with people in a positive work environment, we can?t wait to hear from you!Compensation:

$11 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer complaints as necessary
  • Liaise with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
  • Greet, check in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises; distribute keys and room assignments; record credit card information
  • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests? needs including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and reservation management systems
  • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
