Job Description
We are a 4th generation, 100+ year family owned company seeking a career minded individual wanting an independent work environment to join our team of customer route delivery professionals.
Summary:
This individual is directly responsible for successfully satisfying and maintaining an established customer base through the performance of superior route delivery customer service. A willingness and ability to communicate with a variety of customer personalities is crucial. This objective is accomplished in part, through regularly scheduled customer visits to deliver clean and pick up soiled textile rental products.

Qualifications:
? Ability to operate company motor vehicles. Must possess valid driver?s license.
? Able to effectively communicate with individuals both externally and internally.
? Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions.
? This individual possesses the ability to think on their feet and make good, sound decisions based upon the interests of the customer and the company.
? Must have the ability to bend, stoop and lift in excess of 70 lbs for an extended portion of workday.
? Ability to work independently.
Worked Performed: Duties include, however are not limited to the following:
? Operates company delivery vehicle.
? Loads clean products on delivery vehicle and distributes to clients accordingly.
? Gathers soiled products from clients and unloads accordingly.
? Communicates with existing customers during regularly scheduled delivery and pick up visits.
? Collects cash payments; keeps record of collections; deposits collections daily; monitors and supports A.R. department with customer credit collections.
? Attempts to resolve customer issues both positive and negative in an expeditious fashion.
? Communicates customer service concerns with supervisors in both written and verbal form.
? Increase revenues within existing customer base through the promotion of additional product and services.
? Solicit new customers. Writes new orders, prepares and secures customer service agreements, arranges and establishes customer services.
? Other duties as assigned supporting superior customer service.
Equipment Used:
? Route delivery vehicle
? Product rolling carts/hand trucks
? Office Equipment: computer, handheld computer devise, calculator, etc.
General Qualification for Employment:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as described above and below in an efficient and effective manner. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary for satisfactory job performance.
Education: Speak, read and write English; must possess at minimum a high school diploma.
Experience: Previous outside sales and/or delivery is helpful.
Special Requirements: Must be bondable and able to pass a D.O.T. (Department of Transportation) physical and drug test.
