Power Support Work ? Equipment Operators Needed

The position requires a good working knowledge of all aspects of power construction including placement of new underground facilities and support to power crews including fault location. Other underground utility construction experience may be considered for the right candidate.

Full-time Employment

Daily responsibilities will include working with a crew to excavate and place new facilities or to expose facilities for repair or maintenance. Work may involve use of backhoe or mini-ex, directional drill, hydro-vac but will also include significant shovel work. All work must be completed SAFELY with a high level of quality and per company and client specifications.

Requirements:

· 2-3 years of experience in the construction, underground utility or telecom industry

· Ability to read, write and communicate in English with our customers

· Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to trenchers, backhoes, excavators, and directional drills.

· Ability to work in a labor-intensive environment which includes frequent shovel work

· Must be able to operate all equipment and vehicles safely at all times

· Must complete a background check, MVR check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Laborer: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mini Excavator Operation: 2 years (Preferred)
• Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)
• Utility Construction Industry: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL Class A NM License (Preferred)
