Systems Administrator I Full-time

We are an SAP Business Objects Partner, Rapid Decision Partner, and Microsoft Gold Partner who focus on helping organizations connect data from multiple systems in order to automate reporting, which allows managers, directors and C-level leaders to gain better insight into their data in order to uncover new opportunities!

This position will administer servers, desktops, and software applications. The individual must analyze user requirements, procedures, and methodologies to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Ensure effective operation of the network to meet business needs, including the design of network architecture, integration and installation of IT equipment

  • Provide all aspects of IT network support and administration
  • Advanced troubleshooting of server, desktop, and network infrastructure.
  • SAN administration
  • VMware administration
  • LAN/WAN/VPN administration
  • Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • User account administration
  • Local and Remote End user support in a Windows environment
  • Maintain security posture of network and systems
  • Supports the research and evaluation of technology solutions for business needs
  • Educate staff regarding use of software, systems and applications
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network and systems configurations
  • Maintain and test disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements
  • Rotate as after-hours contact and perform after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary


KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:

  • 1-2 years IT work experience in systems and network administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Effective team member working toward company goals.
  • Active Directory administration and implementation
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Network troubleshooting and engineering including VPN, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, Routing
  • Experience in the supporting, configuration, design and administration of firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking equipment and technologies.
  • Knowledge of data center operations, network concepts, and high availability are preferred.
  • Telecom system administration experience
  • Business Intelligence systems administration experience
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities at once
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to successfully perform job functions with minimal supervision
