Production Coordinator Full-time

at Continental AG Ohio in Ohio (Published at 04-12-2020)

Assist Production Area Managers in planning and performing production related activities. Manage, prioritize, plan, and schedule manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. These objectives include but are not limited to safety, production, quality, cost and delivery. Identify production issues, analyze root causes and derive resolutions. Perform inventory management and report warehouse status to manager. Develop production plan and direct labor to ensure continuous operations. Develop process improvements utilizing elements of the Continental Business System to improve workflow efficiency. Communicate production updates and errors to area managers on regular basis. Organize and schedule job trainings for employees. Communicate complex issues for immediate resolution. Issue corrective action to union associates as necessary.
Associate degree or Bachelor?s degree preferably in business management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Experience:
  • 0-3 Years manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership, people and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult situation professionally.
  • Union experience preferred.
