The Sr Lead Engagement Manager of CDN is responsible for managing the successful delivery of Lumen CDN services to enable our customers to realize their business objectives. Customer engagements will be pre-sales for new customers or new initiatives with existing customers or post sales - ensuring that Lumen is delivering a responsive and proactive customer experience that meets the needs of our customer and ensures that we are aligned with their priorities and key performance metrics.
The Main Responsibilities- Work with the CDN Sales Specialist, CDN Solutions Architect and direct sales team to develop and manage customer relationships in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, grow existing revenue and obtain additional business.
- Collaborate with CDN Sales Specialist, CDN Solutions Architect, CDN Operations and other internal stakeholders to seek to understand our customer?s needs, their business, how success is defined, and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in delivery and development of high value and differentiated CDN solutions.
- Manage the day to day interactions with key stakeholders with our customers and internal Operations, Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure we are providing a proactive and responsive customer experience.
- Work with CDN sales specialist and CDN Solutions Architect to develop and execute on project plans, launch readiness checklists, and operational reviews to deliver a precise customer engagement with clearly defined strategies, tactics and timeframes to maximize revenue.
- 5+ years of customer-facing Sales, Technical / Solution Architecture or Technical Project Management experience, preferably in a sales organization, with a Content Distribution Network (CDN) or digital media focused company.
- Bachelor?s or master?s degree in a related field or applicable years of experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project/program management training.
- Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
- Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- At least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
- This role requires a regular office presence in support of sales management and teams.
