This role is needed to drive incremental revenue across our Small Business & MTU markets through new business development and various strategic marketing & program initiatives:
The Main Responsibilities- Responsible for managing a team responsible for all business development activities and various programs for the Small Business & MTU teams in Mass Markets.
- Leads the team responsible for the execution of the complex marketing and access agreements in our Multi-Tenant buildings, heavily focused on improved margins, cost avoidance and significant returns on our capital investments.
- Requires a high capacity for both technical and sales acumen in order to navigate through marketing & finance negotiation and engineering/access planning teams.
- This leader will represent our brand in the Commercial Real Estate Industry; attends conferences & social forums to ensure our brand is strong and our negotiations needs are optimized.
- Accountable for the management of multiple programs, including but not limited to referral programs, indirect partnerships, and cross functional business unit engagement programs in partnership with the Enterprise organization to ensure penetration in our MTU?s across all segments.
- Ensures the implementation of various strategic initiatives and programs, yielding increased sales performance, and/or higher operational efficiency through excellent time management, decision-making, and human relations skills
- Ensures performance, budget, and contract execution crucial to operations. This role is responsible for executing policy, company process, and procedure across all internal and customer facing contacts.
- Actively interacts with segment marketing to relative to GTM & market development in order to drive incremental sales growth across the channel
- Develops and maintains effective business relationships cross functionally and with internal organizations and regional teams to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales organization.
- Proven ability to hire, manage, and motivate a successful, solution-oriented team.
- Experience at being a strategic member of sales management team who contributes significantly to growth and development of the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Exceptional strategic planning, account management, and contract negotiations skills are required.
- Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies.
- Ability to develop and ensure attainment of sales, revenues, and objectives for overall customer segment.
- A clear track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.
- Must be able to meet and exceed monthly goals.
- Technical and product knowledge related to network and data design is required.
- Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Able to travel as needed (Approx. 50%).
- Security clearance may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum skills required to perform in this role.
- 10+ years of sales engineering experience.
Preferred Education, Skill and Experience:
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Field of Study: Engineering, Technical or similar
- Relevant managerial experience preferred
- Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
