Position Description

ROLE:

At Cronin we view new client development as a team endeavor. Your overall role is to support our sales process, developing proprietary leads and opportunities, and to support opening new client relationships. You?ll work with agency principals, practice leaders, department heads, and other client development executives on new business opportunities. This is a feeder role to a more senior client development executive position for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support sales executives, department heads, senior leadership, and sales affiliate partners in our quest to become a top independent agency in the U.S.
  • Build rapport and develop meaningful relationships with client prospects to gather information, understand client needs, pre-qualify opportunities, and write needs assessments.
  • Follow up and develop proprietary leads from unique sources.
  • Confer with department heads on appropriate opportunities and facilitate information requests (i.e. case studies, materials, etc.)
  • Manage our inbound sales process including Constant Contact, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Web / phone contacts, Salesforce, and other tools
  • Create, maintain and build a prospect database
  • Establish positive communications with prospects including responses to questions, forwarding additional information, and involving others as appropriate conversations matriculate.
  • Research and qualify new leads. Schedule Zoom calls with top prospects and our leaders to further the development of prospects.
  • Develop a lead funnel to manage information requests. Proactively keep our new business contacts abreast of agency news and stories relevant to them.
  • Facilitate preparation and support preparing selected RFIs and RFPs and quarterback our responses in the early stages.
  • Manage our database of materials and support client information requests, including updating our prospect information files
  • Understand our offering and points of difference, being able to clearly communicate our unique value proposition in writing, on Zoom calls, and via phone.
  • Set and meet sales goals in terms of number of quality leads, number of outgoing calls, and number of closed contracts

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor?s degree, preferred focus on Business

EXPERIENCE:

At least 3-5 years of success in a similar role in an agency or consulting environment

SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills including in-person, written, phone, and Zoom / web calls.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Superior listening and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve weekly and monthly targets
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative
  • Superb business instincts and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software tools
