The PDRI Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with all general ledger (GL) accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, time sheet processing, various account reconciliations, and some accounts payable/receivable activities of the firm. The Staff Accountant reports to the PDRI Financial Controller.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide data entry support for GL journal entry creation
  • Complete month end GL reconciliations as directed by Financial Controller
  • Completes monthly bank reconciliation
  • Perform accounts payable functions
    • Obtain approval for all submitted Expense Reports and Invoices
    • Reconcile expense report transactions with procurement card statements
    • Analyze accounts payable data for reconciliations
    • Perform general filing and general administrative tasks
  • Process semi-monthly payroll
  • Manage time sheet processing and associated payroll reconciliation
  • Support Chief Administrative Officer and Financial Controller by completing additional ad hoc financial and contracting reporting, metrics analysis, reconciliations, and accounting data entry requests


  • Associate‚Äôs degree in accounting, and at least seven years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Must have prior experience with Deltek CostPoint and ADP Workforce Now software
  • Must have at least 1 year of prior experience with Government Cost Accounting
  • Must have at least 3 years working in a service industry
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks, including at least 2 years of that experience completing expense report processing.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience completing general ledger reconciliations
