This position is part of the FlexTeam, PeopleScout’s variable workforce unit. The FlexTeam is PeopleScout’s strategic approach to provide client delivery teams the ability to scale quickly. FlexTeam employees are hired with the knowledge that they will be working on internal temporary assignments, and flexibility in schedule is a requirement as work hours may vary from week to week. Flex employees are eligible for a variety of health insurance plan options that meet the individual mandate for the Affordable Care Act. In some cases, starting on the FlexTeam can lead to an opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

This position is located at our client site (10710 Greens Crossing Blvd, Houston, TX 77038). The hours will be primarily Monday-Friday 8-5.

Summary:

This position is to supplement the efforts of the centralized Talent Acquisition (TA) Team. Responsibilities listed below are intended to drive candidates into the applicant pool using local resources, enhance the candidate experience, and reduce overall time to start.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to handle several tasks at the same time, with numerous interruptions, and must be able to keep information confidential.
Proficient in use of PC including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Ability to work independently

Essential Duties

Build relationship with the Talent Acquisition team supporting the local OpCo and participate in regularly scheduled calls with other OpCo Recruitment Coordinators conducted by TA.
Understand the Supply Chain headcount forecast for the next 90 days, verify that Ops Leadership has the correct number of requisitions in the system to satisfy forecasted needs, and align with TA on forecast versus actual reqs during weekly TA call
Understand and source using the appropriate candidate profile (standardized for Drivers and Selectors)
Develop, maintain and utilize a list of local candidate sources (i.e., technical schools, high schools, veteran associations, OpCo social media outlets, etc.)
Work with TA to coordinate, appropriately advertise, and participate in local job fairs.
Work with local leadership to share job postings within social medial, professional, and alumni networks.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process (i.e., interview reminders and logistics, post-hire/pre-start engagement)
Prepare and upload interview guides and post-offer packets (if applicable) for hiring managers
When necessary, serve as a liaison between TA and Hiring Manager (i.e., interview scheduling, candidate feedback, etc.)
Review exit interview, new hire survey, and 30-day Positive Associate Relations check-ins and communicate with TA regarding feedback relevant to the recruitment/hiring process

Basic Requirements

High school diploma is required

Previous recruiting/talent acquisition experience is strongly preferred

Ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish/English)
