SENIOR SECRETARY - PRSG is searching a Senior Secretary on a Temporary to Hire basis with our client southeast of Pittsburgh.

COMPENSATION: $12.00 14.00/HR

Duties Responsibilities:
  • Completes routine office duties such as composing typing internal/external correspondence, scheduling organizing meetings, screening and directing phone calls.
  • Creates filing systems, databases and spreadsheets for maintenance of various records.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors by greeting them, in person and on the telephone, answers and refers inquiries.
  • Meets and directs visitors while facilitating building security by following procedures including operating the electronic entrance system, monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor
  • Maintains employee and department
  • Maintains an accurate record of requests for days off.
  • Assists in maintenance of financial records including petty cash fund and other accounts and banking duties associated with
  • Operates various office equipment including faxes, copiers,
  • Assists other staff personnel when necessary.
  • Collects and maintains current data for division tracking Sends information to the central office for processing.
  • Assists in preparation of annual attendance
  • Completes monthly status reports.

  • Performs other secretarial related duties as assigned.
Education

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Associates Degree strongly preferred
Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience within an office environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Access, Excel, Power Point and
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • Minimum 60 wpm typing speed
  • Intermediate knowledge of office machines (copiers, fax, typewriter, telephone,)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to total quality standards
  • Ability to be flexible and perform other tasks as assigned
