PMI Program Project Engineer Full-time

The PMI Project Engineer assists the efforts of the PMI Program Manager by providing coordination and support to the inspection crews and General Contractors; and by providing document review, control, and coordination. The incumbent provides task-level support to the Program Manager and Reviewing Engineer to ensure the smooth and timely completion of project close-out reports for all clients.

Support tasks include but are not limited to program and project tracking from inception through the closeout process. The incumbent will be responsible for document and data uploads into internal and external systems, central file organization, updating and receiving POs, and will aid in the review of submitted documentation to ensure that it complies with all customer and industry requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Build strong relationships with internal/external inspection teams, General Contractors, client Project Managers and Construction Managers.
  • Participate on a collaborative cross-functional team to effectively support the processes to initiate, plan, execute and monitor all phases of projects on a daily basis.
  • Attend weekly program conference calls and work closely with client Construction Managers and Project Managers to maintain and update milestone completion dates in the project tracker; maintain organized project files and emails to ensure that all pertinent correspondence is saved to the project files.
  • Coordinate new customer set-up documentation.
  • Manage the PO process, providing and bringing presumed discrepancies to the attention of the Program Manager for review; log POs and coordinate project invoicing.
  • Provide bids to client Construction Managers and Project Managers for Modification Inspections
  • Coordinate site inspections with the Inspection Division upon completion of various milestones throughout the project duration.
  • Provide coordination between inspection crews, client Construction Managers, and General Contractors on tower modification schedules, construction sequencing, shipping dates and logistical issues.
  • Manage document uploads and produce closeout reports according to customer expectations for each project. Review all required documentation prior to report completion. Ensure that all project close-out documentation is uploaded to the internal and external customers shared system when the project is completed.
  • Work with Program Manager to produce status reports for national and district/region-level customer contacts.
  • Proactively provide and communicate solutions of problems and production issues to key internal Management, including Program/Project/Inspection Managers.

Experience:

  • Telecom or wireless industry: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Project Coordination: 3 years (Preferred)
