Goodwill Staffing Group Recruiter Full-time

In this role you will work with both customer and candidates in evaluating talent learning and explaining the job functions and finding the perfect match. This is a fast paced and demanding role that insists on excellent communication and organizational skills. You need to possess the ability to take in lots of information from different industries and communicate it effectively to prospective candidates.

1. Expand temporary employee base to include more people that fit our target populations and customer needs.
2. Develop a process methods and strategies for recruitment efforts to reach and exceed metrics.
3. Build relationships with community referral sources by educating them about the mission of GSG through presentations telephone calls mail out social media and networking events.
4. Research schedule attend and prepare materials for job fairs that meet our mission to find quality candidates.
5. Act as a liaison for GSG between Business Solutions Placement team Workforce Advancement and Goodwill Recruiting.
6. Create place and file recruiting advertisements for temporary positions in appropriate online websites social media outlets print and electronic media as needed.
7. Responsible for the full cycle hiring process from application; to processing; to interviewing; to placement.
8. Measure and track the effectiveness of recruiting sources and make recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
9. Responsible for accurate and thorough data entry into ATS system regarding customer and candidate job information notes and details.
10. Complete 12 hours of training annually.
11. Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws including but not limited to EEOC ADA FLSA TWC and TX payday laws.
12. Demonstrates ethics and complies with corporate compliance program.

1. Ability to work independently with little supervision and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
2. Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.


This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

1. Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an employment recruiting staffing related field.
2. Experience using an ATS and CRM system and ability to learn new systems quickly.
3. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
4. Must have a personal vehicle Texas Driver’s License liability insurance vehicle in good working condition and a good driving record.


1. 3-5 years of staffing and recruiting experience.
2. Specific staffing experience in the light industrial and administrative clerical segments.
3. Experience using Salesforce as a CRM and Target Recruit as an ATS.
4. Strong ability to build rapport and network effectively.


$38000-$43000 base salary depending on experience and qualifications. Mileage reimbursement when driving for company business cell phone and laptop provided. Excellent benefits package including medical dental vision and a 403B plan.
