Market Development Manager Full-time

Summary: The Market Development Manager is responsible for raising awareness and education of the Intracept Procedure through referral education and patient outreach initiatives. This includes developing strategies to reach referring physicians and potential patients, developing messaging for these audiences, and creating and executing marketing programs and collateral.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all market development initiatives to increase awareness, education, and growth of the Intracept procedure.
  • Develop programs and content to drive procedure awareness among referring physicians.
  • Deploy innovative and efficient tactics and communications to reach and educate potential patients.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to refine marketing programs and to understand areas of opportunity.
  • Develop targeting criteria and partner with commercial team to ensure effective use in the field.
  • Initiate market research studies as appropriate and analyze their findings.
  • Manage vendors and agencies to meet initiative timelines and budgets.
  • Provide input to training material development and participate in training activities.
  • Attend and represent Relievant at tradeshows and conventions.
  • Complete programs and individual goals within approved operating budgets and within set timelines.
  • Complete all required training and stay current on company policies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed by manager.
  • Able to travel up to 50%.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in medical device or pharma
  • Experience developing market development programs for a new therapy or procedure in a Marketing capacity
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience

Skills/Aptitudes:

  • Able to build strong rapport and relate well to physicians and key opinion leaders
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work in a high paced, changing environment, and interface effectively with other departments and executive management

Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or Master’s Degree is desirable
