Quality Improvement Analyst Full-time

Ouachita County Medical Center has an opening for a full time Quality Improvement Analyst.

Responsible for promoting quality throughout the company by supporting initiatives that drive on-going process improvement.

This position requires critical thinking, problem solving, ability to manage multiple priorities, able to work with little or minimum direct supervision, excellent writing skills, clear and accurate verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook e-mail.

Responsibilities:

  • Support projects requiring quality data analysis and reporting
  • Assist with designing and implementing portions of quality performance indicators, tools, and processes for data collection, analysis and reporting
  • Assist in educating staff, including physicians, about quality improvement projects and/or requirements
  • Review medical records and other documentation to ensure quality care
  • Implement specified changes to quality processes to reduce defects and improve quality

Minimum Requirements—Associate’s degree plus three years in healthcare field such as clinical care, utilization review, quality, or health information management.

Preferred Requirements—Bachelor’s degree plus five years in healthcare field such as clinical care, utilization review, quality, or health information management.
