  • Attend and participate in various meetings
  • Analyzing load to determine system sizing
  • Calculating air side and water side for designing building systems
  • Collaborating with individuals from other disciplines and/or vendors to gain knowledge on new subjects.
  • Report writing: writing summaries of the calculation methodologies employed


  • BS Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, MSME preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time, and maintain ongoing project focus
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way
  • Proactive ability to take the initiative, learn, and be creative in a team environment.
  • Coursework in HVAC design or heat transfer and thermodynamics with HVAC emphasis
  • Engineering-related internship experience
  • EIT/ FE certification a plus
  • Membership in ASHRAE or ASME preferred
  • Coursework in sustainability, Energy/thermal modeling skills, Revit drafting skills a plus
  • Experience with technical presentations and technical writing
  • Proven ability to perform in a paid work environment with intermittent supervision
