HR Business Partner Full-time

The HR Business Partner leads organizational development which contributes to business growth by building relationships with managers/supervisors to provide counsel and guidance that ultimately improves the hiring, retention, and development of people. Develops relevant HR tools, plans, and programs to meet the strategic business needs. Detailed Description
It is expected the HR Business Partner will work in the following areas:
Organization and leadership development
  • Builds capability of organization’s leaders
  • Acts as a coach/advisor to business managers and employees (common to all HR roles) and acts as a sounding board. Provides honest/candid feedback to improve leader effectiveness
  • Ensures development plans for all critical people and drives competency enhancement across all talent
  • Identifies, develops and assists in the retention of key/critical talent
  • Identifies key positions and ensures strong internal and external talent pipelines
  • Facilitates People & Organizational Performance (POP) cycle deliverables and HR initiatives
  • Supports managers in developing and implementing a people strategy emerging from POP
  • Part of the BU/FU Management Team and HR Management Team
  • Supports in design and implementation of organizational structures (profiles, roles, and KPIs)
  • Uses insights and data to develop people plans to meet organizational and business objectives
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
  • B.S. degree in Human Resources, or related field
  • Ten to 15 years of relevant experience in HR advocacy in business or in 1-2 areas of the HR disciplines i.e., Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Training and Development
  • Demonstrates powerful insights about the organization and context
  • High degree of integrity, initiative, professionalism, and respect for maintaining confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize work, coordinate multiple projects, and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to identify alternative solutions, recognizes the impact of those alternatives and determines solutions, which result in the best outcome
  • Must demonstrate a bias toward facilitating change
  • Strong interpersonal, influence and conflict resolution skills
  • Energy and drive to make things happen
  • Courage to challenge proactively
  • Keeps updated with current and progressive trends and good practice
  • Demonstrates commercial and financial mindset with analytical abilities to work through complex situations
Additional Details
The HR Business Partner will be required to travel (15%) to facilitate training, provide counsel, or meet job or training requirements.
