If so, then this might be a good match for you. DSM Biomedical is looking for a Global Account Manager to join our growing team.

The Challenge:
As a Global Account Manager, one would develop, implement and realize the sales strategy and plan for the designated customer account(s) o/a business segment in alignment with functional guidelines and business (segment) strategy and strategic marketing plan. Secure new business deals that maximize the short/ long term revenue and profitability of DSM Biomedical. Directly responsible for managing customer relationships with assigned and prospective customers. Expected travel 30%.

The Position

Set up, coordinate & execute specific account management tactics and plans to realize agreed sales growth and overall customer relationship objectives, both for the short and long term while maintaining the running business.
Implement strategic account planning, and manage account relationship(s) to ensure customer satisfaction and growth of the account. Ensure proper execution of agreements.
Coordinate AD/TS projects at the customer level assuring their progression to commercial sales o/a in support of retaining existing sales.
Develop solutions in case of business issues with customer account(s), considering potentially conflicting interests (e.g., different products, running business versus development/projects)
Monitor the execution of the account(s) plan and take corrective actions, if and when needed, so as to achieve the account plan objectives.
Assist the product line in the development of pricing strategies based on providing feedback on market conditions and product benefits and value to the customer.
Facilitate introductions to other DSM products, technologies and services.
Is responsible for developing and building relationships with customers/end users in the assigned market segment(s). Knows DSM Biomedical’s breadth of products and services and can sell across the entire portfolio.
Contributes to the development of business / market segment strategic marketing plan through ongoing assessment of and providing feedback on DSM Biomedical product competitiveness and industry trends and analysis.

The Ideal

Bachelor’s Degree; MBA Desirable
5+ years direct sales experience with proven track record/capabilities.
Entrepreneurial sales professional who proactively develops business with her/his customers, actively prospects. B2B experience.
In depth understanding of sales process, contracting, licensing and other tools and experience in negotiating complex sales agreements.
Integrative business leader who displays strong business acumen to strategically develop and manager his/her accounts.
Good clinical/technical understanding and affinity with medical technology. Displays deep knowledge of DSM Biomedical product portfolio and products’ use in end-market and products’ differentiation versus competition.
