Senior Production Control Coordinator Full-time

Overview: Develops and monitors schedules for raw materials, purchased components, manufactured components and finished goods shipments to support the manufacturing operations in order to meet customer requirements. Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Establish manufacturing schedules and material delivery schedules in order to attain shipment objectives.
  • Establish, track and maintain adequate material flows to support manufacturing operations by the timely scheduling, acquisition, storage, inventory control, issuance and movement of BOM materials.
  • Issue end of month reports to PM?s and Manufacturing.
  • Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
  • Monitor actual progress against the production plan and provide feedback to production and program management.
  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Identify and resolve shortages and coordinate activities of the departments involved to assure schedules are met.
  • Establish and maintain optimum inventory levels so production schedules can be met with the minimum level of investment in inventory.
  • Coordinate with production, inspection and shipping departments for successful completion of each individual shipment.
  • Coordinate and direct physical inventories as required.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met in the products and services supplied.
  • Other duties as requested.
Basic Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certification in APICS or Production Management Certificate
Experience: 7 ? 10 years prior production coordination experience.
Special Knowledge, Skills Abilities:
  • PC skills
  • Planning
  • Customer Service skills
  • Some technical language interpretation and ability to reiterate this language to simple terms.
