About BeeHIve Homes:

BeeHive homes Is a small residential like assisted living facility home to 15 residents. We provide love and care to the elderly in an intimate atmosphere. Each resident has a private room and bathroom. We provide assistance with all the activities of daily life our residents require including dressing, grooming, medication delivery, bathing, eating, toiletting, and more. We have an activities director on staff that provides interaction, activities, and stimulation with our residents. Most of all it's not what what we do, but the passion in which we do it in. We believe in the love and care we give our residents and one another, each and every day.

We are currently hiring for an Operational Manager. The ideal candidate is committed to self improvement, is teachable, and can demonstrate a willingness to learn. An individual who is willing to be open-minded, receptive to feedback, and has a sense of self awareness.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, a United States citizen, and able to pass a thorough background testing with fingerprinting. Experience in the senior living industry or working with seniors is preferred. We offer on job training. Flexibility regarding work availability is a must . We offer paid time off, health insurance eligibility, profit sharing, and evaluation with eligibility for pay raise upon successful completion of the 90 day probationary period.

Operations Manager
Job Duties: The operations manager must train and be able to provide resident care in addition to operational and administrative duties.

Resident Care: (Must be physically capable of performing the job duties outlined, including transferring)

  • Assist with incontinence issues.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). ADLs include, but are not limited to, transferring, grooming, care, dressing and selection of clothing, cleanliness of clothing, shaving, bathing, oral hygiene, shampooing and curling hair, eating and sleeping, planning daily activities and spending quality time with individual residents.
  • Assist residents in light housekeeping, including inspection and/or making of residents' beds insuring bedding is clean.
  • Assist residents that may be incontinent of bowel and/or bladder, including making sure residents are clean and dressed in clean clothing.
  • Wake residents and assist residents to breakfast.
  • Assist residents to other daily meals and activities.
  • Supervise residents in medication self-administration according to the Medication policy.
  • Assist with maintenance of residents' records to include charting medications, recording daily intake, etc.
  • Record vital signs, weights and measurements and other information as assigned.
  • Facilitate staff, resident, and family communication to resolve conflict and create a positive home environment.
  • Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
  • Participate in resident care planning by identifying the needs of residents in accordance with the medical assessment, working with other professionals as necessary.
  • Assist residents with planned activities.
  • Assist with admissions by greeting and helping with the orientation process to the facility.
  • Do resident checks as outlined by Administrator, or at least once per hour.

Operations: (Below are duties that are included, but not limited to the position)

  • Understanding and compliance with regulations for assisted living
  • Hiring and training of staff
  • staff development and in-service trainings
  • compliance and enforcement of BeeHive Homes policies and procedures
  • managing schedule and payroll of staff
  • Inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Financial: management of budget, resident invoices, bank deposits, etc.
  • Marketing and networking
  • Building maintenance: keeping up to date logs, and record of completion
  • Maintaining up to date employee and resident files
  • Medications: ordering and compliance of physician's orders
  • Compliance with the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy
  • Compliance with current health order mandates regarding covid-19

Note: This position includes job-related stress, and the responsibility of being on call.

In response to the current health order mandates outlined by the governor and NMDOH, screening will be taking place over the phone, including interviewing, and email.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
