LabVIEW Software Engineer Full-time

Responsibilities: AEgis Technologies Group, Inc. needs a test engineer capable of designing software for the Laser Diagnostics Suite (LIDS) program. LIDS is an instrumentation suite to measure and characterize laser weapon performance on test ranges. The overall software architecture includes LabVIEW for data acquisition and ground station control, MATLAB for user data products and quick look GUI. The Systems integrator/Software Developer will be responsible for the design and development of an integrated software package using LabVIEW. This software platform will be used to integrate several sub-components into a cohesive working system. The effort will include requirements modifications and development, process flow design, user interface specification, programming, simulation testing, and implementation of one or more sub-systems under development. The candidate will work on a team comprised of AEgis personnel with frequent customer interface.
New Employee Sucess Factors:
  • 30 days: Complete onboarding requirements. Complete training required by contracts. Become familiar with the LIDS program and it?s use case. Obtain/verify access to all the necessary LABVIEW software and tools.
  • 60 days: Support preparation and execution of all phases of design reviews. Integration into the team supporting the LIDS program. Begin design efforts for software development based on the LIDS use case.
  • 90 days: Successful completion of National Instrument's Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) examination. In addition, there shall be progress on scheduled deliverables.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:
  • BS. College Degree: computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience
  • S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a DOD clearance is required.
  • A current or recently inactive TS/Top Secret clearance is HIGHLY desire
  • Expertise in LabVIEW and automated control and measurement systems
  • Expertise in National Instruments hardware platforms
  • MS Office
  • Experience working in collaborative environment
  • CLAD or CLD certification is a plus
