These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

Prepares correspondence, reports, minutes, manuals, and various forms using a PC; transcribes dictation using a Dictaphone; arranges Continuing Medical Education (CME) meetings to include securing documentation for accreditation; prepares meeting and agenda materials; maintains CME activity computerized Tracker system; maintains monthly web-based CME Calendar of Events; assists in preparation for site visits; takes minutes at committee meetings and prepares for final distribution; makes arrangements for conferences to include coordinating space, time and place; answers routine questions regarding standard policies and procedures under the supervisor?s jurisdiction; assists in and coordinates the preparation and maintenance of budgets; attends conferences as CME representative; makes travel arrangements; assists participants with obtaining CME transcripts; maintains note card/address spreadsheet and facilitates note cards to various USA personnel; collaborates with Director on outreach/interdepartmental projects that adhere to Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) criteria; researches and develops materials for use in supervisor?s speaking engagements with meetings and grand rounds; independently drafts acknowledgment, commendation, thank you cards and congratulation announcements; maintains accurate and accessible records for education and accreditation; processes invoices and reimbursements for program related expenses; processes registration payments for conference fees; answers telephones and directs calls; greets and routes visitors; opens and distributes mail; arranges appointments and meetings; orders office supplies; interacts by phone, letter, or in person with faculty, staff, and community representatives; prepares expense reports and expense requisitions; maintains files; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
