Title: Marketing Assistant

Reports to: Marketing Director

Summary of Position:

TYR Tactical® is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with social media content creation, catalog development, photography, product specification packets, data processing, and reporting and additional print media development.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide support to the Marketing Director and Sales Team

· Collect content for our social media accounts on a daily basis.

· Collaborate and supervise Social Media Ambassadors.

· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department?s activities

· Support sales staff in organizing various projects (trade shows, conferences and other marketing events)

· Collaborate with Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing plan

· Collaborate with Marketing Director to discuss and determine layout and design

· Manage and Prepare drafts of materials, discussing with Marketing Director and making necessary changes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills

· Creates with and maintains branding standards

· Serves as assistant for print, web, videos, creative projects and works closely with marketing director

Experience:

· High school diploma and 2+ years? experience working in the sales/marketing field. Preferably in the tactical industry

Desired Skills:

· Social Media Marketing Experience

· Prior Military Service but not required

· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Ability to think quickly, respond immediately and creatively

· Great attention to detail

· An ability to work independently on a project or collaboratively with Marketing Director as a team player

· Ability to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideas

· Good judgment and ability to accurately translate marketing needs

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope professionally with changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year

  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
  • sales: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Social Media Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
