Overview

McDowell Hospital in Marion, NC is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO to join the team! Job Summary: Reports to the CEO and insures administrative details of the office are managed to provide an organized, prioritized flow of information to and from the CEO's office; perform other related tasks to coordinate and facilitate activities for the CEO's office. Handles or assists with administrative matters of a confidential nature, frequently involving sensitive internal and/or external contact, and performs other duties as assigned. Required Education: Associate's Degree or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and education yielding appropriate skills. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred License: Notary public. Required Experience: Ten years of progressive administrative, office management or executive secretarial experience. Interpersonal skills and professionalism a high priority, posses expertise in dealing with people and situations, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, willingness to provide servant leadership, and proficient use of computers and general knowledge of office machines. Preferred Experience: Possess leadership qualities and supervisory skills, experience in health related field with ability to take minutes, compose letters, transcribe dictation, work within budget parameters, and working knowledge of medical terminology also helpful.
