We?re searching for a Manager of Marketing Operations who will be responsible for overseeing and executing the agency?s marketing operations works on behalf of its clients. The manager will integrate across multiple accounts and across different offices to support and deliver on the requirements to execute programs effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities to include:
  • Work with the agency account teams and strategists to understand the overall brand and business objectives and to ensure that the marketing operations can act in support of those objectives
  • Work with Technology and Marketing Operations leadership in order to define data requirements and articulate the needed database structure, integrations and functions against project needs
  • Develop business requirements documentation for driving successful CRM programs. Build correct checks and balances to ensure flawless execution and escalation protocols
  • Development of data/process flows, detailed data processing & execution specifications and requirements for vendors and campaign partners
  • Ownership of functional/technical requirements documentation for campaign assets, defining experience requirements, link parameters and data capture
  • Coordination and/or managing execution of marketing programs across channels (email, SMS, direct mail, and digital properties, among others)
  • Working knowledge of data privacy regulations/policies, email marketing best practices (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to create, follow and validate testing policies and plans across various data and marketing channels, ensuring quality control across all processes
  • Identify areas of improvement and create solutions to be implemented; proactively provide guidance on marketing operations considerations and requirements, practices and priorities
  • Scheduling, follow-up and management of vendor/partner functions to adhere to schedules
  • Coordination with internal capabilities and vendor partners
  • Contribution to thought leadership material including case studies of program work, vendor/partner alignment materials, new business pitch support, etc.
  • Supports the representation of the Marketing Operations capability within the agency and provides a critical operational leadership role within the organization, with proven ability to mentor, teach, instruct and directly manage junior staff as well as interact with/influence more senior agency/vendor staff
  • Ongoing client interactions for specialized areas of Marketing Operations input
  • Experience with campaign management tools/email tools a plus
  • Potential domestic travel to vendors or clients
To qualify, you?ll need:
  • 4-6 years of experience in a database marketing, CRM agency, direct marketing environment or similar with data-operations and campaign oriented responsibility
  • Demonstrated skills with database programs, data integration and designs
  • Deep familiarity with digital ecosystems, data strategy and data privacy landscape
  • Working knowledge of multiple marketing channel execution and best practices
  • Knowledge of the marketing automation industry landscape and the various platforms
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proven record of driving self and teams towards project goals
  • Prior successful experience managing one or more large-scale client engagements
  • Pharma experience a plus
