Civil Engineer (Land Dev) Full-time

My client is searching for a full-service architecture, civil engineering, MEP engineering, petroleum/fuel design, and planning firm specializing in commercial site development and underground fuel system design. We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in commercial, retail, convenience stores, and tenant finish-out projects for our Dallas office. The Civil Engineer will manage construction projects within the Dimension Group, specifically planning, design and construction activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
  • Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis
  • Compile and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies verifying that projects comply with various regulations
  • Provide strong and confident leadership
  • Client relationship development and management
  • Project pursuit leadership and management
  • Strategic and operational plans
  • Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and regional management team.
  • Perform or oversee, surveying operations to establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction
  • Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure
  • Evaluates and responds to technical inquiries from inspectors, consulting engineers, developers and contractors.
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor?s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • License: PE in state of TX
  • Experience: Must have 7-10 years of prior experience in municipal, civil engineering consulting, or engineering management companies. Previous and on-going successful client relationships with major clients in Dallas/Ft Worth.
