Role Overview
This senior account manager for business development will support the marketing plan for the Nuclear/Strategic Command, Control and Communications Programs. This individual will consult and influence internal and external customers on significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities and long-range goals and objectives relating to NC3 platforms, with immediate emphasis on the E-6B. This position will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with industry partners and recommending alliances, teaming relationships and acquisitions.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and capturing new business initiatives in the NC3 markets.
Serve as a leader on the capture team during all capture activities including, opportunity identification, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, price to win development, opportunity strategy development and proposal development.
Daily activities will include customer relationship building, building and executing contact plans and advising the organization, to include senior leadership on NC3 CONOPS, working as part of a team and with program management and engineering to develop solutions to highly complex customer problems, developing pursuit strategies and overall NC3 account strategies, and providing accurate and timely orders forecasting.
Shape customer requirements, identify the customer's most important requirements, and to provide Price-To-Win and competitive assessment for relevant pursuits
This position requires a Bachelor?s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
Must possess a SECRET U.S. DoD clearance (Requires US Citizenship) and be able to obtain TOP SECRET CLEARANCE, TOP SECRET CLEARANCE PREFERRED
Understanding of TACAMO and STRATCOM ABNCP is required.
Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
Top candidate will have experience with USSTRATCOM, OPNAV N2/N6, OPNAV N98, NAVAIR/PMA-271.
Familiarity with NC3 plans and requirements at USAF Global Strike Command is highly desired.
Understanding of Very Low Frequency and Low Frequency Communication systems.
Understanding of National Leadership Command Capability
Preferred location of Richardson, TX or Oklahoma City, OK but telecommuting may be an option for the ideal candidate
