Affiliate Program Athletic Trainer Full-time

The Affiliate Program provides the comprehensive WaveOn product/service. The Affiliate Program includes an independent contractor position and the responsibility for delivering WaveOn, partnering with local health care providers and athletic/sports entities to support InnovateAT?s strategic objectives through the continued development, delivery, and evaluation of WaveOn for the entire active/athletic population. Contractors are accountable for individual strategy and results as well as collaborating with InnovateAT headquarters.

Job Summary
As an Independent Contractor for the Affiliate Program, you will lead and deliver WaveOn initiatives to revolutionize athletic training. You will partner with local sports medicine leaders, sport organizations, and active individual organizations to drive WaveOn strategies during a time of unparalleled innovation and advancement. You are responsible for improving the athletic injury needs of clients. You must demonstrate systems-thinking, team-orientation, innovation, and a patient-focused outlook. Requires strong leadership skills and decision-making abilities. Self-directed and a role model for others. Seeks opportunities to serve as a mentor. Ability to design and implement projects, programs, and communication strategies with diverse sports medicine partners. Provide world class cutting edge WaveOn services that creates an access program that aligns to future healthcare needs and readies team members to create measurable impact. Establishes effective relationships with InnovateAT headquarters, other athletic trainers, sports medicine community, and staff to assess knowledge gaps. Responsibilities include oversight of assessment of needs, healthcare navigation, and provider referral processes. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to enhance performance. You will play a key role in developing the WaveOn strategy that creates a learning and growth mindset culture. Must be a Community Partner of InnovateAT.

Job Shift: Varies on availability.
Master's degree preferred; preferably with a focus in healthcare management or business administration due to business structure of independent contractor position. Consideration will be taken into account for a minimum of five years equivalent work experience. Must be a Community Partner of InnovateAT. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership and/or management role preferred. Currently licensed with the applicable State Athletic Training Board and/or possesses multistate licensure privilege as required by position. Engages in interdisciplinary collaboration to embrace diverse perspectives. Self-learner who can effectively solve problems creatively and can use the scientific approach to drive impact. Possesses the ability to create learning solutions that drive business impact. Proven ability to foster an inclusive and diverse environment. Experience in influencing organizations, groups or in teaching. Evidence of strategic planning experience. Able to use technology to create materials for presentations and to understand trends in training results to maximize the opportunity of presenting to the sports medicine and athletic communities.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Communicate with clients via telehealth platform
  • Deliver athletic training services
  • Market the services
  • Recruit, manage and support athletes to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Work with provided technology to identify and manage care for clients
  • Provide feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Communicate service strategy
  • Ability to conduct outreach, build relationships and collaborate with sports medicine community
  • Develops clear, thorough schedules that deal with a variety of situations.
  • Creates a team environment of accountability and commitment for reaching project goals
  • Bachelor?s degree required
  • Master?s degree desired

  • Formal training in coaching, team leading, facilitation and group dynamics desirable
  • Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire confidence in senior management and to be recognized as the authority by stakeholders
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner sometimes with incomplete information, under tight deadlines and in high pressure situations
