Accounts Payable Specialist Full-time

The Accounts Payable Specialist reports directly to the Accounting Assistant. This role will support the primary goal of the Accounting Department of ensuring that all financial components of the organization are well-organized and executed timely, accurately, and efficiently while providing superior customer service. We are looking for an upbeat, enthusiastic team-player who works with a sense of urgency and accountability. This is a unique position that combines invoice/payment processing with recircularization within our accounting systems.


  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and entering invoices Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Maintain files and documentation accurately, in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Process vendor payments and check requests
  • Audit and process expense reports
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • Supports and backup to receptionist as needed or during lunches

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two-five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Ability to effectively write and communicate through email and written letter correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in client meetings and crew meetings.
  • Moderate computer skills needed for spreadsheet, word processing and email correspondence or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Paylocity & Spectrum a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour


  • Office Administration: 3 years (Required)
  • Accounts Payables: 3 years (Preferred)
