Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk Evenings 5pm-9pm Full-time

SUMMARY:

The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk enters information into the electronic health record for services rendered for the Outpatient Addiction Services department (IOP/OP). The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk is responsible for ensuring that documentation is accurate and that services are entered within a specific time frame. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk works closely with the clinical team and Billing Specialists to ensure that all billable services are entered. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk works with the clinical team in order to facilitate retrieval of necessary documentation to access entitlements, and facilitates client access to publically funded transportation assistance. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk supports the program by answering phone calls and greeting visitors as they arrive at the site, and provide secretarial support to direct line staff who report to the Program Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of of receptionist/front desk experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate to advanced level
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in order to effectively problem-solve
  • Must be a team player, patient, flexible, and have the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate fashion in a fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: (and other duties as assigned)

  • Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity in all oral and written communications in regard to persons served within the agency.
  • Greet and route visitors, and answer incoming calls in a welcoming and professional manner
  • Adhere to applicable city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations, internal and CARF standards.
  • Must have current State clearances for Child Abuse, Criminal Records check, and contagious diseases.
  • Ability to communicate verbally in English, read written or typed information, communicate legibly in writing, speak English clearly, and hear voice in conversational tone.
  • Input data management in the electronic health record.
  • Ensure that services rendered are reflected accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Process and submit client documentation for transportation benefits
  • Track NET and publically funded transportation for clients to ensure payment.
  • Monitor the assigned reception area
  • Provide backup for other NET Lehigh Valley sites
  • Prepare typed correspondence, edited for correct English structure, spelling, usage, and punctuation
  • Provide clerical support to direct line staff
  • Participate in weekly supervision or as scheduled by supervisor
  • Enters WITS/TAPS information as assigned in within the timeframes designated
  • Conforms to and follows all NET policies, procedures, and regulations regarding confidentiality and client rights
  • Provides eligibility verification checks (EVS) on potential clients and regular EVS checks on all active clients
  • Disassemble Discharged Client charts
  • Create and compile necessary forms for clinical/service charts
  • Performs all of the above responsibilities in a professional manner consistent with NET?s expectations
