Solution Specialist Full-time

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual with experience in IT and networking technologies. The ideal candidate will be organized, helpful, curious about new technologies, willing to work hard, and able to effectively explain complex ideas to a novice audience. Interpersonal skills and an aptitude to learn are key for this position.

Job Responsibilities/Roles

  • Conducts business in a consultative manner, understanding the technology and business challenges facing our prospective and current customers.
  • Assists the Implementation team with the fulfillment of orders, including conference calls with customers, retrieval of configuration information, and interfacing with engineering internally.
  • Joins the Implementation & Sales teams on webinars, video conference calls, and training
  • Represents the Sales Engineering team as a subject matter expert for NetCarrier Products.
  • Joins the Sales teams on phone calls and appointments.
  • Partner and client meetings may require occasional travel
  • Develops relationships via daily interaction with sales, engineering, and support staff at all levels
  • Responsible for researching current industry tech trends as it pertains communication infrastructure
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2-4 year college degree; or 3-5 year experience in IT, Telecom, Technology, or Account Management
  • 1 year Experience in Telecommunications or Managed IT Services
  • 1 year Experience in a Sales or Customer service role
  • The ability to think outside the box, work in a team atmosphere and adapt to a fast pace work environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
  • WAN and LAN technologies
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
  • Basic understanding of Layer 2 and 3 switching
  • Working knowledge of SIP Phones
  • Basic understanding of programming interfaces (API,CRM)
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Presentation Skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills;

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Telecommunications or Managed IT Services: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Sales or Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
  • IT, Telecom, Technology or Account Management: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Associate (Preferred)
