This is an exciting time for Tris as we build and expand our national Commercial and Scientific team in support of our ADHD products.

The (SR) MSL - with a high level of proficiency - develops and maintains professional relationships with prominent health care professionals and key decision makers as they relate to Tris' products. The successful candidate engages in scientific exchanges and enters into strategic discussions as they relate to medical/clinical, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) data with health care professionals, including individual physicians, researchers, managed markets, medical and pharmacy directors, hospital decision-makers, formulary committees, consultant pharmacists, state Medicaid decision-makers, and others.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participates in, and leads, field team activities at relevant medical congresses.
  • Supports interactions with investigators and potential investigators in conjunction with ongoing and planned clinical trials and supports the evaluation of Investigator Initiated Research proposals.
  • Assumes a leadership role by assuming responsibility for special projects as they arise related to both Medical and Clinical Affairs activities.
  • As medical representatives of Tris, the MSL communicates key information about the company and its mission; provides key scientific and clinical information about Tris' products; provides a conduit for communication between Tris and the medical community regarding ideas for future research with Tris products; gathers medical insights from the field about the therapeutic area treatment landscape, clinical experience with Tris products, and appropriate competitive intelligence; and provides corporate value through demonstrated leadership and participation in strategic thinking.

This is a field based position with travel of a minimum 75%. Multiple geographic locations are available and qualified candidates must live within reasonable driving distance to a major airport.

  • Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (e.g. M.D., PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of MSL experience required.
  • Experience in CNS/Psychiatry therapeutic area preferred.
  • Experience in ADHD therapeutic area preferred.
  • Strong broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge as well as excellent presentation and teaching skills required.
  • Strong overall written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent level of experience and confidence speaking about drug information/disease state treatment required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the pharmaceutical corporate environment and appreciation for Commercial Operations, including Marketing and Sales strategies required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance issues related to the MSL role required.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority required.
  • Proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective and successful collegial relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in therapeutic areas of interest required.
  • Experience and knowledge of government and private payer relationships and direct experience in a payer environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel minimum 70% in assigned geography required.
