UX/UI Analyst Full-time

We are looking for an ambitious and talented UX/UI professional to enhance user engagement and product development. The ideal candidate should both understand user behavior and translate it to product design and function. Responsibilities will include improving our academic and research user experience, designing digital media products, analyzing/testing usability, creating graphical elements, and contributing to various product development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct user research, interviews and surveys in the academic and research sectors to translate into improved product function and design, features, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Develop user personas and journey maps based on qualitative and quantitative data to inform marketing, sales and product development
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, and process feedback from customers and the sales and marketing team
  • Communicate with the marketing, sales and product development, and recommend changes based on user feedback, business goals, and UX trends/best practices
  • Deliver high-quality work on tight schedules in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 3 years work experience in a UX/UI capacity
  • A college degree
  • Experience conducting user research (preferably within a higher education environment)
  • Ability to translate user research into design, prototype, and features
  • Experience with cross-platform design (web, tablet, mobile)
  • Prior examples of visual and functional design work
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to juggle multiple projects
  • Understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
