Crew Resources Analyst Full-time

at Sun Country Airlines in Minnesota (Published at 12-02-2019)

Contract

This position will support the overall general support and administration of all Crew Resource activities for Sun Country Airlines. The Analyst, Crew Resources will assist in any associated work, analysis, and of research data to optimize the flight crew utilization.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare accurate and timely compilation and presentation of IOE tracking reports.
  • Assist to ensure optimal distribution of training events to minimize impact on staffing.
  • Produce and publish contractual and FAR legal crew schedules that balance crew satisfaction with cost efficiency while meeting staffing objectives.
  • Publish, award, and transition monthly crew schedules by contractually dictated deadlines.
  • Assist Crew Payroll department to provide crewmember payroll data.
  • Assist with booking and processing vender invoices for crew related travel.
  • Audit processes; looking for improvement in efficiency and cost.
  • Present information and professionally respond to questions from management, crewmembers, or other department personnel in the company.
  • Work with and present basic accounting, percentages, basic statistical inferences, and ratios.

Required Skills
  • High analytical aptitude
  • Ability to read, analyze/interpret, and make suggestions on pairing and crew schedule utilization.
  • Present information and professionally respond to questions from management, crewmembers, or other department personnel in the company.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid and convincing conclusions. Beginner to intermediate "abstract reasoning" capability.
  • Work with and present basic accounting, percentages, basic statistical inferences, and ratios.
  • Workload can be heavy at times requiring extended concentration ability, and a strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with Crew and Management.
  • Willing to work varied hours including weekends and holidays to meet all contractual deadlines.
  • Perform additional functions as assigned.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to construct advanced spreadsheets using Excel to demonstrate and track a variety of financial and efficiency metrics.
  • Write reports and business correspondences to address or provide convincing arguments on general planning issues.


Required Experience
  • Intermediate Computer Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States
  • Able to speak, read, and understand English
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Qualified candidate must pass a criminal history background check as well as a pre-employment drug test
