As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Carbonite, the Financial Analyst Intern will assist the FP&A team by partnering with stakeholders across the organization to develop budgets, forecasts, reports and analyses, metrics, financial models and processes to drive financial transparency.The ideal candidate for this internship will have strong analytical skills, a high degree of curiosity, be able to identify issues and suggest potential solutions, are data driven and have a desire to pursue a career in Finance.Specific Objectives and Responsibilities:During your internship, you will...

  • Learn about Carbonite's current business landscape and understand FP&A's key role in the business.
  • Analyze financial, operational and accounting data; develop and deliver reports to business segments.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and special projects.
  • Assist with headcount management process by centralizing data by function for net new and attrition.

Skills & Experience:
  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and a strong degree of comfort working in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior co-op or internship experience working in Corporate Finance role is a plus!
