EMV Software Engineer Full-time

SUMMARY: Provide EMV script writing and general programming, vendor relationship and support for electronic payment solutions services such as Euro pay, MasterCard and Visa to banks and card bureaus. Integrate programming activities with data processing system and needs. Incorporate project tasks across both EMV/Smartcard and standard customer needs for Card Services. Familiarity with Smartcard programming standards such as ISO 7816-4 APDU specification, Global Platform Card Specifications 2.1.1 or later, EMV ICC specifications and how to read and understand Card Personalization Guides. Basic RSA cryptography and the ability to implement using Global Platform compliant JavaScript and in C# environments to be able to write cryptographic commands required for authentication to a Global Platform compliant Security Domain. Familiarity with the cryptography required for EMV data preparation and personalization. Familiarity with the PKCS 11 specification, as implemented in FIPs-3 compliant HSMs. This position is hands on and is responsible for making daily execution decisions.
1. Complete relevant programming for delivery of applications using Javascript and .Net based Smartcard development environments.
2. Manage programming related tasks specific to all assigned projects including requirements gathering, code development, QA testing, client approval, production release, and documentation with relevant training.
3. Develop custom solutions involving Hardware Security Modules (HSM) e.g. key checking and cvv generation.
4. Provide support and training for deployed EMV solutions.
5. Prepare detailed product documentation, training manuals, and software test plans.
1. Five years of experience leading a team.
2. Seven years of systems analysis and design experience.
3. Five years .NET experience, preferably with VB and in developing using JavaScript.
4. Two years? experience developing EMV Smartcard applications, EMV scripting and Multos.
5. Knowledge of financial card industry, development methodologies, and development project lifecycle principles.
6. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work. Responding to changing needs and balance competing priorities.
7. Train and direct others, present reports, proposals, and other information in public forum w/vendors, internal staff, and customers.
8. Technical writing proficiency
9. Excels in providing superior customer service to internal and external clients.
10. Experience supporting smartcard implementations preferred.
11. Willingness to travel as needed for presentations and implementations.
