JOB SUMMARY

NorthStar Energy Services, a pipeline infrastructure construction company, is seeking a qualified candidate to join a construction team onsite in Nashville, TN, as a Administrative Clerk.

The Administrative Clerk is responsible for performing routine clerical and organizational tasks that effectively support the operations of a construction field office. This position will report directly to a Project Manager onsite. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support on various pipeline construction projects with minimal supervision.
  • Assist field operations with the completion of daily time sheets.
  • Verifying the accuracy and performing quality checks of all tasks given.
  • Communicate with main office, customers & subcontractors as directed by Project Manager.
  • Operate fax machines, videoconferencing and phone systems, and other office equipment.
  • Perform data entry as needed without errors.
  • Use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications.
  • Complete forms in accordance with company policies & procedures.
  • Field telephone calls, receive and direct visitors.
  • Performing other various clerical duties as assigned by Project Manager.

This is an Administrative Clerk position that will assist the needs of the supervising Project Manager on a jobsite. Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in related field with administrative support experience; OR
  • Associates degree and two years minimum administrative support experience; OR
  • High School diploma with minimum four years administrative support experience.
  • Must have references.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Must have strong computer capabilities in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and comfortable with researching and resolving problems.
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to pass drug & background screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid Driver?s Licenses in good standing and reliable transportation to work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk/stand/sit at jobsite location
  • See objects within normal range
  • Listen within normal range
  • Understand speech of another person
  • Speak clearly so listeners can understand
  • Sit/stand for periods at time for documentation work

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $15.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Construction administrative/secretarial/clerk: 2 years (Preferred)
  • administrative: 2 years (Required)

License:

  • TN Driver's (Required)
