Job Summary:

The Director, Operational Readiness & Implementation supports field readiness for service and product delivery, supports and leads strategic project initiatives for Product Innovation, Operations & Clinical teams and ensures service implementation for all Wound Care Centers. This individual is responsible for the readiness and installation, of new product solutions. This role provides guidance and direction for the integration of the Healogics program model within the center, by interfacing with all departments. The Director, Operational Readiness & Implementation will provide the client and Healogics the ability to deliver advanced wound healing therapies and innovations to patients who would benefit by the best means available.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes operation processes and product implementation strategies and plans to support the optimization of Healogics strategic business initiatives.
  • Facilitates the successful and timely implementation of new products and services in Healogics Wound Care Centers
  • Ensures implementation efforts remain on schedule and compliant with agreed upon standards and expectations through established KPIs.
  • In conjunction with the AVP and Customer Account Executive, develops business relationship with the client and establishes expectations, timelines and addresses client concerns and requests.
  • During implementation, meets regularly with client to set expectations and achievable targets for integration of the service line as related to each department.
  • Drives completion of the Healogics Innovation Implementation Checklist
  • Leads and coordinates operational readiness activities for each assigned project, ensuring that all flagged needs and deliverables are met appropriately.
  • Utilizes effective change management to ensure successful implementation, including the alignment of readiness, communications and education activities to ensure engagement and adoption of products and services.
  • Manages the Transition and Kick-off meeting process in conjunction with the Development Vice President (DVP), Customer Account Executive (CAE) and Area Vice President (AVP).
  • Performs periodic site visits in conjunction with the assigned AVP to ensure proper implementation/function.
  • Holds regular implementation calls that include the CAE, AVP and relevant stakeholders.
  • Performs problem solving and escalates issues for resolution within the hospital and Healogics as indicated by the issue.
  • Participates in weekly update calls with the VP Product Line Operations and the SVP Product Innovation.
  • Documents observed strengths, weaknesses, and remaining actions items for implementation for each new product/service implementation and provides to AVP.
  • Manages each product implementation locally to identify issues, define roadblocks, mitigate issues and manage risk; provides on-site oversight and coordination of product installation in the wound care center
  • Collaborates with Healogics Talent Management to post, interview and assist in the hiring process for positions needed regarding new products and services to be implemented
  • Coordinate with the center leadership and train on how to communicate/set expectations for new product/services to deliver advanced wound healing therapies
  • Collaborates with center leadership and AVP to ensure that the client has the appropriate marketing materials available to offer new product/services
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience and/or managing operational processes
  • PMI or similar project management certification strongly preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with cross functional team involvement
  • Experience in driving operational projects
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in product solutions
  • Ability to utilize and analyze reporting, systems, data, documentation and other resources to achieve high level of functionality in role.
  • Clinical/Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Extensive travel throughout the US (50% - 75%)
