Due to current growth and expansion Norton Lilly International is seeking a Part-Time Title Specialist located in the Savannah, GA location. Come join our Team!

The Title Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely input of titles for all customers shipping non-OEM cargo. Also handle all related inquiries for all customers, internal and external. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

  • Carefully monitor sailing schedule to ensure timely collection of necessary documents.
  • Ensure accurate processing and confirmation of customer shipping instructions; facilitate changes as required keeping all relevant internal customers informed.
  • Ensure availability and response to phone inquiries from all internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor customer title submission and respond within agreed deadlines with all relevant information.
  • Possible specialized customer reports as required and established through operation channels.
  • Reconcile systems to ensure accuracy and ensure customer expectations met; record reasons for changes/amendments.
  • Update systems as required.
  • Promote compliance with US Customs and other law enforcement agencies and authorities to assist with safe and secure cargo transport.
  • Provide US customs with correct reports for titles submission.
  • Ensure all titles are sent back to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Promote compliance with special projects for US customs.
  • Work closely with US customs to help validate title/bill of sale.
  • Perform other related duties at the discretion of Port Manager or other member of management team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency.
  • 1-2 years of functional experience in Customer Service (retail, sales, call center, etc.), and /or Data Entry.
  • Experience in transportation industry is highly desired.
  • Familiar with SAV Port system a plus.
  • Working experience with Word, EXCEL, Microsoft office, and other related software.
  • Verbal and written communication skills (written & verbal with emphasis on details).
  • Organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • Detail and result oriented.
  • Familiar with US Customs rules and regulations.
  • Must have a valid driver?s license and accident free motor vehicle record.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to provide and maintain automobile insurance according to state laws.
  • Required to travel to and from the port and US Customs office.
  • Must be able to train in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $14.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Transportation: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service Skills: 1 year (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

  • Driver's License (Required)
